The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. lovely owners, very helpful! only stayed one night but wish i stayed longer, would 100% recommend! international charging outlet in cozy pod! Ipoh its self is a beautiful little town lots of street art to see and so much delicious food. thank you

i love every single of this stay. the staff was lovely and cute, the bed was good, the lighting was good. there are soo many games you can play there. overall i will come again and again.

This guesthouse embodies the quirky, overgrown charm of Ipoh and was my favourite stay in Malaysia. I almost didn't book it as my train from KL was going to be later than their check-in desk is open but they very graciously waited for me to check in late. Right from the point of check-in, the staff were so kind, helpful and accomodating. The host Elisa is keen to share her hometown with you - she had prepared a little guide of all the things to do and see and recommendations for places to eat at Ipoh. There's also a Whatsapp group to connect with other guests; she organizes regular night market trips, which is a fantastic way to see the local side of the city and movie/board game nights for guests. Location is excellent - a short 10 minute walk from Ipoh station with a front entrance, easy walk from here to all of the interesting spots in the central area of Ipoh as well as the street art laneways. Very homey and has a real warmth and charm. Loved the vibes and aesthetic of this place. For female solo travellers, the female dorm is a wonderful little haven. It has it's own floor and adjoining toilets/showers with secure key card access, so very safe and private. The beds are large and comfortable - no bunk beds and the top is covered with a mesh, so it doesn't have the ventilation problems common in hostels. It feels a bit a sleepover in a tent and I found it very cosy. Large lockers are available to store your belongings outside the bedroom to minimize disturbance by guests who are packing. Toilets and showers are all very clean, and there's also a drying rack near the lockers. It seems like the hosts have really put a lot of thought into making the stay comfortable. A sleek cafe downstairs doubles as the common area for you to hang out in. Laundry also available.

I loved the location, atmosphere and vibe of this hostel. Elisa the owner is a wonderful host always willing to help. She took us to the night markets every Tuesday and was so much fun we explained all the foods to us. The location of this place was amazing, backing onto a beautiful alley way with street art and food. Everyone there was solo travelling as well so very social. I loved it
