The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that guests are required to bank in the first night's payment within 2 days from the time of booking to secure the reservation. The booking will be cancelled otherwise. The hotel will contact the guest directly on instructions for the bank transfer.

The location is great. Old town and little india easy walking distance. Room is great size. Staff friendly and helpful

The location is about a 10-minute walk to Old Town and 15 minutes by Grab from the airport. Several famous eateries are also within walking distance. D Eastern provides all the basic essentials and offers good value for money. However, the WiFi was down on the day of checkout and was still not resolved by 12 pm when we left. The area outside the hotel (not the hotel’s fault) felt rundown and rather desolate.

Clean and comfortable, spacious room, convenient location within walking distance to old and new town, free undercover car parking, nicely renovated in a heritage building. Room has enough windows that can be opened for natural ventilation.

Both girls at the reception were wonderful. Extremely polite and very helpful. Hotel is located near four way intersection, which was convinient,easy to walk some of the tourist attractions. There was no noise.
