The reviews of this place on Google were a bit mixed, and my husband and I will replicate the mixed feelings: I liked this place, while my husband felt more mixed. So here's the good: This place was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the host was lovely. We arrived early, and she had our room ready, although we were only expecting to drop our bags and wait patiently. Great service! My husband really appreciated the towels, which were both very high-quality and also delivered generously and punctually. We booked last minute, so the welcome was even more appreciated since we had changed our plans unexpectedly. Most of all, the Craignay Guest House is located near a lot of tour pickup locations, and that's what I was there for. I was able to walk to my tour pickup locations, which was very convenient--and I had booked this Guest House because I decided I didn't feel comfortable driving to the hikes I wanted to do, so I needed the tours this time around. The fact that this place was both available and comfortable pretty much saved our vacation. There were also tea supplies in the room, which were very welcome and appreciated.

Very welcoming, adequately clean making it good value for money. We are very lucky to normally live in a rural location with no traffic and neighbours. If you are like us, staying in a town location will always prove to be noisy. This is not a complaint but intended to ensure that any feedback must truly contain accuracy that is relative not based on ill considered expectations. Certainly a place to revisit as all other boxes are ticked 100% for the money. Thank you
