Diana and Noel are the most charming of hosts, one of the most friendly and helpful that we have encountered on our travels anywhere. Villa Rouge is a delight in every way. It has a lovely location in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Invercargill with off street parking. Lovingly restored, the house has oodles of character and the guest suite includes use of a lounge. Pristine and comfortable in every way, it makes for a very relaxing stay. Very spacious bathroom and have never come across a bathroom in which there are so many towels provided! A cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs was delicious. If you want to stay in Invercargill, don’t hesitate to stay with Diana and Noel. Our only regret was that one night just wasn’t enough!

The ambience and the owners were just wonderful and this experience should not be missed. The breakfast was abundant and made with loving care. Great conversation was had which added to the enjoyment.

The breakfast was amazing. Location was very convienent to all attractions and sites. Hosts were very helpful in suggestions of what to do and best way to travel there.

Absolutely beautiful heritage home, restored with live by Diana and Noel. Easy walk to restaurants, park, but even better to just enjoy our accommodation. Diana and Noel are perfect hosts, felt like we could have been old friends. We were sad to leave.
