First time to stay in a shared accommodation, Tuatara Lodge gave me an impressive experience. Clean sheets and bathrooms, friendly and helpful staffs to assist check-in. Common areas are well-equipped and safe. Recommend to solo travelers and groups to stay!

Location was great. Right in the middle of Invercargill and their brewery downstairs make amazing pizzas and beers. Good value for money. We were lucky to score a car park behind the building, however, it is not cheap to pay for parking. Coaches depart right outside the facilities. The beds were very comfy and the swipe cards worked well. The double room was a decent size. Everything was pretty clean. Hardly bumped into other people.

the best location in Invercargill, hands down. across the street to Mall, 7/11, bars cafes at front door. perfect. I found teh rooms really good. the clientele in the shared room were all fine. nice people travelling, usually staying a single night. very safe. super clean rooms. im pretty picky and this isnt fancy, but its totally clean and room is cleaned each day. i stayed for a couple of weeks, and I tell you, I found it better than some of the Hotels and Motels I have stayed at in Invercargill. If you are on a budget, or just looking for absolute best location in town, this is a no-brainer.
