Hotel Overview

Offering panoramic views of the Bernese Alps, The River Village is set right at the banks of the Aare River, 1 km from Lake Brienz and the centre of Interlaken. It provides free WiFi and includes an Indian restaurant.
The restaurant features a traditional Indian clay oven and serves authentic Northern and Southern Indian cuisine, as well as many vegetarian dishes.
The simply furnished rooms at The River Village overlook the lake and feature cable TV and a seating area. Some rooms have a private bathroom.
Interlaken Ost Train Station is a 15-minute walk away, while Interlaken West Train Station can be reached in a 20-minute walk. The Jungfrau ski area is 15 km away.

We had a very good stay at this hotel for four nights. Everything was clean and well organized. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the main train station and near the river, which made the area very beautiful. The staff was also very kind and helpful. One man even took us to the main train station twice and helped us with our luggage. He was extremely nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel❤️❤️

Excellent location on the river bank. Friendly staff, clean room, had a mean in the Indian restaurant which was really good. Great base for exploring Jungafrau region, being a stone throw away from Interlaken Ost station.

There is a lake next to it, where you can see ships and mountains. It's not far from the train station, and the room is very large, clean and hygienic
