After travelling in Switzerland for a few days I was really bowled over by how expensive Interlaken was compared to other areas. We can all agree that Switzerland is expensive generally but Interlaken takes it to a whole new level. Which is why I found this apartment such great value for money. It was clean, well kept and had all the amenities we needed for an extremely comfortable stay. The house was a little tricky to find if you are using Google maps. However, my advice to you. Use Google maps to find Taj Palace the Indian restaurant. This about 5 to 10 minutes away from Interlaken West station. If you stand with your back to Taj Palace there is a little road directly across from the restaurant. It is the 5th house down. These keys are in the lockbox and it's very easy to open up. There are loads of restaurants and supermarkets around. Top tip buy all your souvenirs and chocolates in the co op. This house has self catering facilities and we made full use of it. Let me give you an example, a meal in London, rice, dhal chicken for example is max £15, here in Interlaken it was £30, this is enough for 1 person!!. Imagine doing that 3 times a day. The shower pressure in the house was excellent. Bath gel and towels, washing up liquid & sponges were provided. There were fans in each room to cool down, windows could be opened as well. There was a spare set of bedding and towels in the pull out couch. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive. But I highly reccomend this accomodation. It is very well placed, in a safe family friendly area. Lots of amenities around. We got most of our cooking items in the co op 5 minutes away. They do a lovely rotisserie chicken. We visited Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Schiltorn, Murren, Jungraujoch. I invested in the Oberland Pass and it really paid off. Thank you so much to Gayatri and Sudarshan for making our stay so comfortable and being accessible to answer questions and help us out.

Location, close to Interlaken West train station and loads of restaurants close by, including supermarkets. Spacious sit out, which we enjoyed.
