The location was good and the accommodations were great. Jen knows the region well and gave good information about things to in the area. She also prepared amazing breakfasts every single day during our stay.

Everything about our stay at Black Walnut was very enjoyable. This is a beautiful and lovingly restored old house and every detail is intentional. Jen is an absolute legend and was not only super friendly but made really excellent breakfast (very delicious and with local ingredients) and gave us recommendations that were spot-on. We also appreciated having the modern comforts of multiple streaming services and reliable Wifi. The back garden is also gorgeous. Even the cat was friendly. All in all, it was everything you'd want in a bed-and-breakfast.
