Beautiful sea view room with balcony. Really lovely staycation night away for my daughter and I. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Room and restaurant were impeccably clean. Such a lovely spot in our beautiful North Devon. Perfect 👍 thank you so much!

Breakfast was very good, however, full english only had one piece of bacon. Smoked salmon was a better choice.

The Commodore is beautifully situated, overlooking the River Torridge and facing Appledore. Instow has a beautiful beach. The room was comfortable with a superb balcony with sea view. Breakfast and evening meals are exceptionally good.

The room was excellent with views across the river to Appledore. The hotel was quiet, probably because of the time of year. Breakfast was excellent, with a large choice.

Great breakfast to start the day. Bedroom had a lovely view over the estuary and comfortable lounge. Convenient for shop, pub and restaurants.
