I got married over the weekend and we used The Old Hen shed as our base, the hosts were so amazing and very accommodating, they were happy to let us use the cottage to get ready in the morning of the wedding with lots of people coming and going and even got us a bottle of prosecco to congratulate us! And also saved my veil after I dropped it getting out of the taxi! Can't recommend them highly enough.

The location was on a working small holding which we loved , host really friendly, beds were comfy, every thing was clean , if we needed anything our hosts were easy to contact and help.

Perfect setting right next to the Worth way walking path. On a small holding. Quiet, relaxing surrounded by countryside and farm animals. Alpacas, peacocks wondering by, donkeys, geese and hens to name a few. Grandchildren were invited to meet and feed the animals. Had a lovely relaxing morning in the hot tub, and playing games, before setting off for Haworth and the Santa's special. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits to help on arrival and a nice bottle of wine in the fridge. And gift of fresh duck eggs as a treat both mornings. Lovely family. Nice spacious cottage. Very warm through the storm outside. Games and dvds. Felt like home. Granddaughter wanted to live there. We will be back, found a gem of a place with space to think. Perfect for families.

Fantastic views, comfortable., exceptionally warm. The grandkids loved the animals. Some essentials provided, always good to find the things you forget: salt, pepper, foil, cling film. Nice to have tea, coffee, milk and biscuits.
