We went to Cape Smokey to ski and the location of Island Inn could not have been more convenient: it is a 5 minute drive away. Breakfast was a huge bonus and so was the cabinet full of board games for the kids - a lot of family quality time. Very friendly and helpful owners and an on-site cat was a big hit!

The location was perfect for our stop off after a long drive on the Cabot Trail. Tracey was lovely and very accommodating, we really appreciated the breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends as well.

The room was beautiful with a great ocean view. The bed was super comfy. The house itself was well-kept and filled with the most interesting knickknacks and handmade items. Breakfast was delicious with gluten-free toast (much appreciated). The couple running the place were friendly, funny and welcoming. They also had many good suggestions for restaurants, activities and amenities in the area. The Main Street restaurant was excellent
