This is a fabulous place for walkers to stay. Alex made me feel very welcome. The ensuite room was comfortable, there is an interesting lounge and the views over the Vale of York just lovely. I had a top quality evening meal, an excellent breakfast and a packed lunch to sustain me on the walk.

Wonderful farmhouse with fabulous views. Our room was cosy, warm and beautifully decorated. The entire house was spotlessly clean. The guest lounge was a real bonus-a lovely room to relax, chat and play a game of darts. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious (thank you chef Brett)! Alix and Brett were so very kind and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We will return to take advantage of the hiking along the Coast to Coast Path which is on the doorstep.
