A great, unpretentious place to spend a couple of days. The beach area was lovely, the food superb (fish platter was 10 out of 10) and I loved the 2 golden retrievers .

A wee gem of a place, lovely staff which are there to help, food and variety was brilliant, rooms are as described, janus is a very helpfull guy and the whole place is very family orientated all with a very nice pool. People from the classier units nxt door were comming for their meals....what can you say!

Everything :) We got the room with the balcony view and the size was quite sufficient. They have private access to the beach for people who are staying there. After a series of horrible meals, this was the place where we got good meal options; the chef was quite good. We watched the sunset and had a nice quiet walk along the coast. They have a small swimming pool and free breakfast service. They were very kind enough to put up a small decoration and celebration when they got to know it's my birthday; which was an extremely sweet gesture. Things we loved the most: 1. They speak English quite well so they understand your requests and engage in conversations. 2. The sound of the beach waves :) 3. The hotel is tied with a tuk-tuk person, Jeevan, who was very very helpful to us. We had to get our RT-PCR done and the center was 13 kms away with closing time within 30 minutes; but he made arrangements and drove us there to ensure our tests are done on time. He also arranged a car for us to go to Colombo (our last destination).

Accommodation was good. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Nice beach with big waves. Unfortunately, it was not a good choice of location for swimming at this time. Excellent and tasty food! The service in the restaurant is pleasant and the chef cooks excellently!

Idyllic spot with very friendly, hard working staff and hospitable owner. The hotel has three lovely dogs on site, which was great for me. The room was also bigger than expected with lots of storage options, which was a plus as I was staying nearly two weeks. Thank you!
