I loved this place. Everything was so thought out, and bike riders were well catered for. The yurt was waterfront and looked towards the sunrise location. The accommodation was cosy, clean and had a nice warm feel to it. The lighting was set up to create a nice ambience. I enjoyed the outdoor seating and relaxed at dusk. They had a personal esky/cooler bin in the room with water and enough space to add your own drinks if you wished. It had everything I needed for my mid ride stop over. The food was fantastic, toiletries supplied were very nice, staff were friendly and helpful. The was a convenience store down the road if required. I needed some help with my bike before I set off the next morning and the staff helped me out with their tools, they had a good selection. The shared bathrooms were a short walk, very clean and well maintained.

Amazing place to stay and break up the Shimanami Kaido in to two days, we also rented ebikes from Wakka so our bags were waiting in the room upon arrival. We got a free lift to the other side of island to visit the onsen (entry included in price of wakka stay) and then got collected after visiting the brewery and getting dinner.

Everything about this place was great. The location - waking up to the sunrise, islands and sea. Staff were attentive, polite and supportive. Villa was clean and roomy. The breakfast was healthy.

We rode the first half of the Shimanami Kaido before staying at Wakka. The stay here definitely made our trip more enjoyable! The staff was incredibly kind and their attention to detail was something we haven't seen at any other hotels. The general area is beautiful with excellent views of the other islands and the sea. The breakfast must have been one of the best breakfast experiences we've ever had. The variation in the food was great and each one was an absolute delight.

Really unique place to stay, with great facilities, cycling specific offerings, amazing staff, great location within walking distance to interesting restaurants. Amazing view from the room and property and great cycling access. Tremendous place.
