We had a very enjoyable stay at Lavender Cottage. It has a cosy homely feel about it and the location is great. Walking distance to two pubs. The price was very reasonable.

A lovely cottage located in a quaint village. We stayed for 8 nights to attend a nationals competition our son was taking part in and the cottage was perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful location. Cottage very well equipped with everything you would need. The owners have clearly thought about what guests might need during a stay (airer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, plenty of cutlery/utensils, dishwasher tabs, washing machine tabs, washing up liquid etc.). It was nice to have a cafetière so I could make some good coffee! Wifi was good (no complaints from our teenage son). Dedicated off road parking was good too with enough space for a large car like ours between two garages (you could park on the main road too if you wanted). Two local pubs (one you can walk to in less than a minute) but we did not try them. Tesco Extra is about 15 mins away. Looks like some there are some very nice local walks in the area but did not have time.
