Exquisite traditional Japanese house lovingly renovated in stunning japanese garden with with elevated position and panoramic views on a magical island dotted with art. Alan and Reiko went out of their way to help - collecting and dropping us at the ferry, arranging bikes - and were very patient with questions and timing ! We ate a delicious keiseki style dinner at their restaurant. The fridge and house was generously stocked with local produce and goodies - fresh eggs from their chickens. homemade jam, local strawberries, beers and much more! Could have stayed a week!
