Peace Haven truly lived up to its name. The apartment was absolutely lovely — modern, spotless, and beautifully presented, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having two bedrooms made it perfect for our trip, and the facilities were excellent throughout. The location couldn’t have been better: right in the heart of Ypres’ old town, with shops, restaurants, and historic sights just a short walk away. A huge bonus was the car park very close to the property, which made arrival and getting around completely stress-free. Bernard was a fantastic host — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He even kindly allowed us to check in early, which was very much appreciated and set the tone for a wonderful stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Ypres and would highly recommend Peace Haven to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a truly welcoming experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great location with easily able to park via the car park. Room was ready and open when we arrived ahead of arranged time and met host a bit later who was very friendly and helpful.

Our host Bernard is really friendly and professional. Great Communications. The building is new, and the facilities and condition of the premises are excellent. The building is located in an excellent position and is only a matter of about 400 yards from the centre of Ypres. Car parking can be an issue directly outside of the premises, but there is secure car parking provided, which is only a matter of a five-minute walk away, although driving to it because of one-way roads in the locality can seem daunting at first but full instructions are provided by Bernard plus a code you photograph on your mobile gives you the route using google maps. I am 74 years of age and found it very straightforward. So it was a matter of parking as close to the location as possible, unpacking everything from your vehicle, then going and parking up. There is a small cafe come takeaway just outside the premises with restricted opening times, but these are listed on the shop door. The prices are really reasonable and whilst we were self-catering, I popped across and bought some chips to add to our meal, and they were excellent and very affordable prices in comparison to the prices charged in the town centre. There are also a couple of small bars in the nearby streets, and again, the prices are really good.

Excellent location, modern, well-equipped, very clean, comfortable beds. Host Bernard was excellent - he let us check-in early and went through everything very throughly. Parking was a bonus- easy to find and only a few minutes walk away from the property. We would definitely stay again.
