We liked the tranquil location amidst the large garden/fields and the great view of the river Rother and the Isle of Oxney beyond. The cottage had everything we needed and was comfortable and functional. The owner has put a lot of thought into providing everything a visitor might need, including extras such as the coffee machine. The owner gave us a warm welcome and her home-made scones with jam and clotted cream were a lovely gesture for our arrival.

Peaceful, rural location. Perfect to get away from it all. Beautiful surroundings. Lynda was a welcoming and friendly host. We ate breakfast on the patio every morning and enjoyed walks around the farm.

The location is fabulous, amazing views. We arrived mid June and all the roses (many bushes) were out and the smell was fantastic. The cottage is well equipped though could possibly do with a couple more pans. The 'silence' with no background noise was also remarkable. Stairgate assured that the dog couldnt get upstairs. Extensive grounds and nice patio.
