The best rental home we have had. We lived in a Greek home, simple and tastefully decorated , very comfortable inside as outside. The private terrasse was terrific! We loved this house. We were taken care of by the owner from arrival to departure.

The view from the property is amazing, and so nice staying in someone’s home. Our stay was made so easy, with our first connection at the owners Isalos cafe just 20-30m from where one gets off the ferry. From there donkeys had been arrange to take our bags up the hill to the house, which winds its way up through the narrows streets and steps. The climb is worth the effort with magical views. We ate at the Isalos cafe and his two restaurant's Kai Kremmidi and the more formal Mikra Agglia which have excellent food. The staff at all were very helpful, all speak good English and seem to enjoy explaining the various dishes on the menu

This place is something special. It has the absolute best view of Hydra, the interior is very charming and the spacious terrace is perfect for hanging out with friends. We went with our friends and we were all impressed by the welcoming: they greeted us with cold water and fresh fruits. Communication with Ioannis was always smooth and he is very responsive. He helped us carrying our baggages with the cutest mules. The apartment has everything you could need: coffee capsules, beach towels, nice toiletries, washing pods - it is really well equipped. Now, about the 317 stairs to get there (yep, we counted) - they turned out to be exactly what we needed after indulging in all the amazing food every day. Plus, we took advantage of this and tried a different route up each day that allowed us to explore the charm of Hydra. Oh and we also had a visitor - a lovely kitten we named Idra. She adopted us for the week, so if you stay there just know she loooooves Greek yogurt.
