The home overlooking the harbour is a very special place indeed. First, a little about Ioannis, the owner of the property. Ioannis greeted us in person at the property and throughout the week nothing was too much trouble for him. He is a warm and very helpful person who made our stay a real pleasure. He also owns a fabulous restaurant Mikra Anglia where we dined twice and Isolas his lovely cafe for breakfast. So we felt very much at home. The home itself is truly stunning: very spacious, immaculately clean and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen equipment. The beds were also super comfortable. The view is also simply stunning. One point: Ioannis makes very clear in his booking information that his home is reached by over 300 steps so it makes for a challenging after dinner climb. Totally worth the effort for those who are fit and young at heart but if you have mobility issues then probably a challenge.

Lovely light and airy house in a beautiful position above the town with stunning views of the harbour from the main bedroom and sitting room. Pretty and well appointed terrace. Wonderful sense of calm each day when we got back! The owner Ioannis organised mules to collect us from the ferry to take our luggage up the steep hill. All his communications with us were so friendly and helpful. Hydra is idyllic and we cannot wait to come back.

The best rental home we have had. We lived in a Greek home, simple and tastefully decorated , very comfortable inside as outside. The private terrasse was terrific! We loved this house. We were taken care of by the owner from arrival to departure.
