I had a wonderful time at The Chedi El Gouna with my family. The area is peaceful and charming, offering everything you need for a perfect holiday: inviting pools, warm sea waters, and absolutely delicious food across three excellent restaurants. My stay was made even more special by my comfortable sea-view balcony room and the luxurious Asprey hair care products, simply marvelous!

I really enjoyed the kid-friendly facilities, especially the pools. The food at the Beach House was delicious, and it was easy to get into town. The staff were all friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.

Glorious hotel with superb food and idyllic sea front location with private beach. The breakfast was excellent, with à la carte options and buffet. For dinner, we tried all three restaurants (and room service) and they were all excellent. The quality of the food in general was exceptional. The staff were happy, efficient and friendly and management were always keen to know that our experience was perfect. Our room was taken care of by Hossam, who was amazing. The room was very modern with an unusual layout, very tastefully decorated. We had a beach front room, well worth the upgrade, just spectacular. El Gouna itself is a gated town that is only accessible to those working or staying there, so it is super-safe. The Chedi is like a village within the town, with its own security from the rest of the town so literally the only people on the complex are the guests and the staff. The rooms are in very small blocks dotted around this mini-village. You walk outside to get to reception, the restaurants, bar, beach, spa etc. There is waiter service on the beach and lifeguards, although the sea is like a heated swimming pool so they don't have much to do! We stayed one week and only had one very small glitch right at the end involving the airport transfer, which was probably not even the fault of the hotel itself - but it was quickly rectified by management in a very kind and professional manner. Quite simply, the Chedi is one of the finest hotels we have stayed in and we can't recommend it highly enough!
