Consisting of colourful Middle Eastern-style buildings, this 5-star resort offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. It features a landscaped pool area with a children’s pool and a private Red Sea beach.

It wasn’t the Grand Makadi as our booking was changed due to circumstances beyond our control to the Makadi Palace several weeks after accepting our booking so was always going to be a compromise.,

The Makadi was lovely for families. The pools are fabulous as they are well heated in winter. The food is good and a nice selection. The Spa which is at the next hotel is wonderful!! This is a very good spot for snorkeling as the have a pier right onto the house reef, which is sooo beautiful!
