Picturesque Yorkshire Village with The Countyman's Inn as the focal point of village life. The pub looks from the inside like you would expect an old English pub to be , with a few modern vibes ( german beer).The food is good old yorkshire grub , but more modern food is available too. And it's all yummy , especially the breakfast.The rooms are quirky but clean and have everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here , and the service is superb.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay in this community managed country pub. Friendly and engaging staff, who were clearly invested in their work, and busy with cheerful locals, we were made to feel very welcome. Our twin room was large, clean, tidy, and comfortable, with all the standard facilities. We ate both dinner and breakfast and everything was top drawer. Proper beer and proper pies did for these boys..😀 We would happily return and recommend to others who want to experience genuine hospitality… and a decent pint..
