This is a superb hotel, with wonderful staff and great facilities. The whole place is class from start to end, making you feel welcome, relaxed and wanting more! Loan, the hotel's Front Office Manager went out of her way to arrange for tickets to the theatre at the Citadel for us which we really appreciated. We can't thank the team enough for making our families stay there a memorable one.

The property is excellently located - so close to the train station which is perfect (especially if you’re arriving late from Hanoi - we walked the 300m with no issue) The room was bright and it was the best bed we slept in throughout our whole stay in south east Asia so far - pure, luxurious comfort. The food was excellent - we had lunch there for one day in our stay, and a hearty, generous breakfast every morning another best: best massage my husband and I have had in years (do the imperial package with the herbal tea bath - it’s worth it) Proximity to the river and imperial complex was great - we walked along and crossed over (1.5k) but you could easily cycle or take a “Grab” or Tuktuk etc. Staff were very polite and friendly - from the bellman, to the ground staff, therapists, restaurant staff, parking attendants, cleaners - all fantastic and eager to help. Very well trained. We spoke briefly with a senior member of staff as we were leaving - he was charming and seemed genuinely interested to know about our stay and wish us well on the journey
