“Superb”

Stayed here while riding through the Peak District and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The Queen Anne is tucked away in a quiet, scenic village with beautiful surroundings. It was perfect for relaxing after a day on the road. The room was cozy and clean, with the added bonus of being in a separate building to the pub, which gave it a bit of extra privacy. The food was excellent, with a great variety for both dinner and breakfast (which was included). I especially appreciated being able to stream Netflix and unwind in the room during some downtime. Highly recommended if you're passing through or looking for a peaceful base to explore the Peaks.

“Pleasant stay with a very convivial landlord and ideal location for visiting the Peak District.”

Parking was good. Breakfast was excellent. One day we needed to leave the accommodation early and our host provided a full breakfast at our chosen time which was much appreciated. Nice to have option to eat in evening in the pub. Accommodation was quiet and private with small garden to use. Room was clean and everything worked well; a bit small but we knew that.

“A great find, good value. Would recommend, a proper B+B. Beer in great condition. fish and chips A1.”

All food was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. Eggs for breakfast from the pubs own hens.

“I recommend the family-owned Queen Anne inn wholeheartedly- great bar, food, beer, location, hosts.”

The choice of breakfast was very good, and the full cooked breakfast I had was excellent- generous without being over the top. The evening meals were outstanding. The service and friendliness of Glyn, Angela and Carolyn couldn't have been better. There was plenty of parking. The garden, and the part of it which was private for guests, is mlovely, with excellent views over the countryside, to the south. Oh, and the draught Bass beer I had was perfect. Every last pint.
