Absolutely brilliant location, twenty minutes from everywhere we wanted to go (Ladybower, Castleton, Longshaw Estate/Padley Gorge and Bakewell). The breakfast was so good, filled us up until way past lunch which enabled us to get a full morning of walking in without stopping for snacks! The owners/hosts were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It was incredible value for money and we will definitely stay here again the next time we fancy a Peaks getaway!

I made most welcome by the host. I turned up just after the Jan snow storm. I room was lovely and breakfast was very good. The pub part was closed due to the snow but it wasn't a problem really. The host directed me to another pub for food and ale.
