The location, the food, we stayed in the double deluxe room which was spacious, large, clean. The restaurant is fab although you need to book a table to eat and it is busy.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything you needed to hand. The pub meals were excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly.

Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and plenty. The bar had lots of locals which was lovely to see everyone knew each other and made us feel very welcome.

Deserves its very high review scores. Breakfast and evening meal fantastic, very decent beer on handpump served at correct cellar temperature, welcoming and friendly staff and the lovely atmosphere is just what a traditional village pub should be. Comfortable room had coffee machine with fresh milk not long life, the ensuite bathroom is all modern with a powerful shower.
