Staying at Andes Hostel was an amazing experience. It is a perfect hostel to make friends, do some nice trips and have a good time. We booked a few tours there for a good price and honestly felt like home. The owners were so nice too. Twice, there was no running water at all, so that is maybe a critique point, but when that happened, the owner boiled water for us and mixed it with cold water so we could take a shower. He was always there when needed. In total, can absolutly recommend this hostel, if you are looking for a nice and not costly place to stay for the time you are in Huaraz.

Great hostel to plan your treks in the region - helpful staff, hot showers, big breakfast, comfortable beds, and many other hikers to meet up with. I ended up staying 4 weeks there!

Staff very friendly Breakfast included starting at 7:30am so often we missed it if we were doing an early hike About 15minute walk from the main square Kitchen available for cooking was useful Did 2 tours through the hostel, one was great and the other one was very badly organised
