This is the place you want to stay when you visit Huaraz. Akilpo home is simply the best! We had the best two nights of our 3 week trip in Peru. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They helped us book a tour, find taxi’s and offered a quick laundry service. Besides there are always there for a chat or explain a bit more about Huaraz. The location is perfect, everything is within walking disstance. Also the bed is big and so nice, the room was super clean. The breakfast was very fresh and complete. Great Wi-Fi. The price-quality ratio is amazing. We would definitely come back to Akilpo home! We stayed in April 2025. We thank you guys for making our time in Huaraz to lovely!

Everything was amazing! This is one of the few places that really deserves a 10. The rooms were new and very clean, great shower and the best bed we’ve ever slept in. Moreover, the staff is extraordinary helpful and genuinely friendly. They went too grest lenghts helping us calling buscompanies (after their reception closed) when we had issues with our tickets. Thanks for everything!

During our 1 month trip in Peru, this was by far the best hostel we stayed! Definitely worth every penny. Everybody is so helpful, kind and friendly. Rooms are very cozy and clean. Excellent service, the staff was always available and ready to provide good advices about trekking. Excellent location, close to the center. The room was really comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great!
