We really enjoyed our stay here- the vibe was very relaxed and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean, and the shared bathrooms and kitchen were also kept very clean. The included breakfast was good (bread rolls, butter, jam, juice and coffee). Our bus was delayed by 7 hours, and Jorge very kindly stayed up to make sure we arrived safe and could check in- we really appreciated this. The hostel is right across from the main surf break, and about a 10 minute walk to the beginners break. We wish we could have stayed longer 😊

Jorge was a great host, always worried about our well being and helping in every way possible. This is a simple stay, but definitely a very good option in a place like Huanchaco.

Jorge is such a kind host. There was nothing he couldn't sort during my time in Huanchaco. Directions, surf lessons, sushi! He even let me keep my room before my night bus on the day of departure free of charge when he didn't have a reservation. The house only has a few rooms and is in a great location for surfing, with good kitchen facilities and a nice terrace for breakfast and sunsets.

We had an amazing time at Yellow House. George and his son Diego are very nice hosts who treated us like friends. If we had any questions they would help us right away, we even went to a local party together that was a lot of fun. The location is nice, the room is nice and the rooftop terrace is amazing specially at sundown.
