David “Very convenient location and a spacious room”

I was met for check-in and also received a phone call from the lady’s sister to make sure check-in was easy. The room was very spacious and I used the balcony for morning coffee and evening drinks. The railway and bus stations are an easy 10 minute walk away. There are several shops and eating places close by and several tourist attractions within walking distance. I would recommend the room as a great place to stay.

The property had an excellent location, walking distance to the station, a riverside path and key bus stops to the night market. The host was very friendly and helpful, promptly responsive to text messages with useful tips to make the stay in Hualien very enjoyable. The Gorge was closed because of maintenance needed after a recent strong earthquake, but don’t let that stop you visiting this arty town, the coastal (free) bus tour made a terrific scenic day tour.

Room was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated! Location is also near the train station and very convenient. Owner is very friendly and went out of the way to prepare our room for early check-in when we arrived in the morning! She also gave good recommendations on how to get about. Overall definitely a very pleasant experience and highly recommend!
