adi “A Beautiful and Practical Hotel in a good Spot”

Our family of five stayed at Art Zone during our trip to Hualien, and we really enjoyed our time here. We'd give it a solid 7 out of 10 for its style, value, and good location. The first thing that strikes you about this hotel is its incredible design. We all agreed it was one of the most beautiful and well-designed places we have stayed in. It has a very cool, modern, artistic feel that truly lives up to its "Art Zone" name. The positives continued with the rooms. The Wi-Fi was decent, and we appreciated the nice lobby area with its complimentary coffee, tea, and microwave. The location is also a major advantage. Having a hotel-managed parking lot very close by was a huge relief. Furthermore, there is a supermarket right underneath the building, which was incredibly convenient for grabbing snacks, drinks, and anything else we needed. We found it was a perfect base, and it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go in Hualien from the hotel. For breakfast, they offer a simple sandwich and a drink. While it's not a big buffet, we thought it was perfectly fine and excellent value for the price. It was just what we needed to get our day started. Overall, we had a very positive experience at Art Zone. It's a fantastic choice for a family or any traveler who appreciates great design and is looking for a comfortable, practical, and perfectly located base to explore Hualien. We would recommend it.

The hotel (some places called a hostel but definitely more of a boutique hotel) was close to the train station, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the art and decorations and the room was also much bigger than we were expecting. Definitely met our expectations and we enjoyed the simple and easy breakfast. We were able to find nice restaurants within walking distance and the night markets were a 30 minute walk down the road that was also easy to get to. They clearly have taken on board feedback that I have seen in some reviews such as coffee now being free downstairs and having covers for the couch.
