April “Lovely big family house in rural Belgium”

A wonderful and very large property, nicely laid out and attractive. A great kitchen with almost everything you could need (no cheese grater or peeler but plenty of plates, cups, glasses, boards, knives, serving dishes, etc). Big dining table in a lovely big dining area. Big comfy corner sofa looking out of the front patio doors. There was an extra shower downstairs and a downstairs WC, a utility room with washer and dryer, cooker, hob, microwave. Private driveway with option to use the garage. Upstairs had 4 bedroom with a bizarrely large number of cots available. Very warm with heating on and the option to use the log fire in the lounge - though the layout didn't really make sense for this with where the settee is. It was a great location for us, in the middle of nowhere in a tiny hamlet, nothing walkable at all - suited us fine. Fairly short drive to Dinant which is incredible, Fort du Dave, and Namur a bit further away. The cable cars and citadelles at Dinant and Namur are both well worth a visit. The play room is great, our son loved it. Good WiFi and access to netflix. Lovely to see the horses at the back of the property.
