Dar Lola is a lovely place. The hosts (Samia and the other women) are super kind and always willing to help. Go there if you like authentic places with true people.

A guest house in the centre of Houmt Souk run by a family who were very friendly and helpful. As a 'maison d'hotes' it provides a clean and comfortable base (with excellent showers) from which to explore the old town. Someone was available via WhatsApp 24/7. Breakfast was very good with omelettes, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit juice, toast and coffee. There was a roof terrace for the use of guests.

Old style Tunisian house. Good continental breakfast omelette if you wanted it. Small number of rooms. Excellent location in centre of Houmt Souk. Shutters on windows.
