An absolutely stunning location we have just spent 4 days at Ash cottage 6 Adults and 2 Children the place was spotlessly clean we had a ball beautiful garden and the pool was the icing on the cake and my grandchildren loved it as well as all us adults. Speaking of cakes we were welcomed with a home baked Victoria Sponge which was delicious Thank you Sophie. The owners were there if we needed them but were in no way intrusive. I would rate this as five stars. Lots to do on your doorstep. This was a first time visit to the Peak District and we were all blown away with the views we hope to return and would definitely book Ash Cottage again.

The most amazing location half way into the hills with a view over the valley and grazing sheep and a hill walk starting immediately from the cottage. Bedrooms was comfortable with plenty of room and great layout for families with kid. Pool was wonderful and we spent hours and hours in there.

Swimming pool was fun. Beds comfortable. Clean cottage. Beautiful location - perfect for walks. Garden also lovely - enjoyed the long dining table. Owners were friendly.

Location was amazing. Swimming pool was a real treat and the best we’ve ever had in a property of this style. Host was incredibly helpful and welcoming.
