Lovely location in a quiet village, and a very characterful property. It is a good size too, with plenty of room to move around. The lounge area is comfortable with a view of the lovely garden. Being able to park directly outside the front door is a big bonus. It is just a short walk to the local store and the nearest pub.

location is ideal , off road parking on site , pub and mini supermarket within walking distance. Quiet at night and every modern appliance you could want.

We catered for ourselves. We met the owners who happened to be working in the garden. In fact we were brought a bunch of sweet peas, the scent of which pervaded the apartment, and from Sunday we were invited to use the garden as they would be away during the rest of our stay.. We had brought some prepared meals so made good use of the microwave and/or oven, and were grateful for the freezer so our freezer blocks helped keep things cool during days out in high temperatures 33+. The settee was comfy for tv watching, and the bed was very comfortable, so we slept well in spite of the heat. Hot water was always available for washing, showers and washing-up. Although not difficult to find, via some very narrow country lanes, we found the satnav very helpful for locating the property.
