Very nice and clean and cosy room. The staff at the reception were some of the most friendly staff I have ever seen in a hotel - and this isn’t a loose statement or an exaggeration.

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, but in the end, we appreciated the way the staff handled things. Initially, we were assigned rooms in the older, unrenovated part of the hotel. Unfortunately, both rooms had several issues — they felt quite dated, with signs of wear and cleanliness concerns such as unclean sheets, a leaking air conditioning unit, and general hygiene problems. We raised these concerns early on, but our first interaction at reception was disappointing, as we felt the situation wasn’t taken seriously. Thankfully, things took a positive turn later that day when the Dutch staff and a supervisor stepped in. They reviewed the rooms, acknowledged the problems, and were very professional and understanding. We were then kindly upgraded to a room in the newly refurbished section of the hotel, which made a big difference. The upgraded room was clean, modern, and comfortable — clearly renovated to a much higher standard. In the end, while our stay started off on the wrong foot, we’re grateful for how the staff handled the situation. If booking here, we’d recommend requesting a room in the renovated section for a more pleasant experience.
