Excellent location, close to the beach and Ala Moana shopping mall. The atmosphere has to be experienced to be believed. Hotel guests and locals come together in the bar and socialize like family. The hotel staff are amazing, you get to know everyone very well as everyone gets treated like a friend. The rooms are a little dated but have everything you need. They are also clean which is very importantant. Staying here is also incredibly good value but no matter how good the value, you can't beat the atmosphere, that needs to be reinforced, not to mention the complimentary drink on arrival.

Lovely family owned hotel, all the staff were so helpful and cheery. Yulia made us the most fantastic cocktails at the bar.

The incredibly friendly staff are the best thing about the hotel. They are simply amazing! The hotel is on the outskirts of Waikiki, so you have easy access to other communities/parts of the island, and you are not in tourist central. Staff held our bags after we checked out, and there is even a free shower service when you return (we didn't use). They also provided an umbrella. I would recommend the hotel wholeheartedly.
