From the moment we walked through the doors, our experience at The Imperial Hotel Waikiki was outstanding. Check-in was quick and easy, and every staff member we encountered during our stay was friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming. We stayed as a family with a toddler, and the room setup couldn’t have been better. Yes, the décor may be a little dated, but everything was extremely clean, comfortable, and functional. Having a small kitchen was a game-changer for us—especially with a young child. We could prepare meals or snacks when needed, and once our toddler went to bed, we had the lounge area to relax in peace. The pull-down bed offered extra flexibility and comfort too. The location is amazing—a short 5-minute walk to the beach, and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and attractions. There’s an ABC Store right downstairs for snacks, drinks, and essentials, and Target is just 10 minutes away on foot if you want a wider selection for groceries. Everything is at your fingertips. We also loved the amenities, including the rooftop views and pool. One of the highlights was being able to sit on our balcony with an ocean view—such a special way to start and end the such a special way to start and end the day. This hotel made our Waikiki stay so smooth and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend The Imperial to anyone visiting—whether you're a couple, a family, or traveling solo. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We were given an upgrade, short walk to beach, next door to Royal Hawaiian centre, and short walk to International markets.
