Pool was good, location was good, and the funicular railway to get up to the rooms was brilliant! Room and bathroom was a bit old and dated, but was fine for a few nights. The bar and restaurant next door is good too.

Great place to stay, very central. The new owners of the hotel were very hospitable and are making some needed upgrades. The room was very clean with a comfortable new bed and bed linen, Loved the bar restaurant Troppo, all the staff was fantastic food at the restaurant was fantastic. Looking forward to my next visit to Honiara and I will stay at the King Solomon.

Interesting cable car taking you to your room. Hotel design is lovely and unique.

It's convenient to the wharf it's clean friendly staff ...but it old and the lift is unreliable
