The fine print

Hong Kong will implement controls on disposable plastic items starting from April 22. Hotels and guesthouses are banned from providing disposable toiletries and in-room plastic-bottled water for free.
Hotels can provide disposable bottled water and other regulated plastic items, but they must provide them as separate charges and the charges must be listed separately on the bill. If necessary, travelers can pay to purchase their own toiletries from the hotel or bring their own.

I was in HK for my sister's funeral and stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. When the staff learnt about that, they gave me a quiet room on the high floor. I really appreciate this kind gesture. Nothing is too much trouble for the Front Desk staff. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Gwen for excellent road directions, Tiffany and Stephen. The hotel is 2 steps away from the A2 exit of Sai Ying Pun MTR station. I would love to stay there again soon.

A MTR station exit was located next to the hotel building. The building entrance was located off the main road at an alleyway. The hotel reception was located on the upper floor. The hotel was not new and had no grand entrance nor fancy design but our room was very spacious in Hong Kong standard. The level of comfort was also beyond our expectation. Our only concern was the old and worn towels but that didn’t bother us much as we brought our own towels.
