Reception is from the pub and is small and friendly. Bedroom 15 is the last up a fair few stairs and along a long corridor. Once in it is big and warm and clean. Not overly imaginative and a bit tired, but, was quiet. A lovely comfortable bed with lovely clean white linen. BIG soft and warm duvet. Bedside lights and a standard lamp. Desk and chair and bedside tables. There is a big walk in wardrobe. Kettle for tea/chocolate making. Coffee machine. Fresh milk in a flask was nice touch. Biscuits. Shower room is big and bright and clean and warm. Shower cubicle could have been bigger, but, the two headed shower worked well. Plenty of hot water. BIG fluffy white towels and FREE toiletries. Bath mat and non slip mat. BIG circular electric mirror. All clean. Downstairs is a HUGE pub cum restaurant. Nicely lit and clean and tidy with an open fire and a flame effect gas fire it makes it nice and comfortable. Busy, but, friendly. Good staff. Good food. Good ales. Breakfast is included and was good. Outside is the High Street and out the back a gazebo with tables and seating popular with the smoking fraternity. FREE parking in the hotel car park behind. Holt is a lovely town with everything you need. Smart and friendly. The manager, John was friendly and efficient and very personable. The staff are friendly and good. I felt it was good value for the room, hotel, location.

We loved the location as we were able to see the Christmas lights as it was very central in Holt. We enjoyed the food and it was really brilliant for me as a celiac as there was plenty of choice. Our room was extremely comfortable, and it was great to be given fresh milk for making our drinks.

I have wanted to visit Holt in December for a long time and The Feathers was the ideal place to stay being in the High Street. The room was very large and warm.The bed was huge and comfortable

Food was excellent, reasonably priced and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly, efficient and went out of their way to provide good service. The hotel has had a refurb since we last stayed there. The hotel is in the centre of Holt so very close to all the shops. Shopping in Holt is a pleasure - lots of independent stores.
