Excellent old inn with character, nice rooms, pleasant bar, good food and beers. Very good breakfast provided. Large car parking area. Great location in quiet village close to Wasdale. I like the fact that they do good value deals on the rooms and I have therefore stayed here several times. Always a good experience.

We stayed here to meet up with friends who were staying up the road so this was ideal for us. Room was overlooking river, clean and bed very comfy. Food was good staff were very good.
