Staff were friendly and helpful. We were in a more budget room as it was a good price. The room looked a little worn, however the bathroom was lovely and clean, shower was great and the beds were very comfortable/ room was warm. The lamps above the beds didn't appear to work but main lights did. Location ideal just off the M6 and quiet. Only 30 minutes from our destination in Manchester. We were not told about what must be an adjoining door to another room. Tried to open the door and was locked. Then heard a dog barking very close other side of the door and then could hear everything people were saying in the adjoining room very clearly, so felt we couldn't talk / needed to speak v quietly.
