Exceeded all expectations, room 5 has amazing views into the Lake District and all mod cons like air con, smart Tv, fridge and remote blinds, double shower and the best mattress I’ve ever slept on, all this doesn’t compare to the welcome I received and the food is outstanding in gorgeous surroundings, if your looking for a getaway to recharge you have found it, order the big breakfast if you think you can handle it 😆

The Pheasant is a pub with a spacious restaurant and rooms. It is located in an attractive village and has views over Morecambe Bay. The surrounding area is scenic and close to many interesting villages and tourist destinations such as Cartmel, Holker Hall, Grange and Windermere. The staff I encountered were all very friendly and professional. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner. The room was well equipped with a big TV and a fridge
