Hotel Overview

Set on the beautiful beach of Holbox Island, this accommodation offers privacy within a walking distance from the town centre. Palapas Del Sol features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a pool.
Rooms at Del Sol are set in 6 beach cottages that feature local palapa architecture with palm-thatched roofs. The cottages have their own terrace with hammocks and there are mosquito nets on each window.

Beautiful room with amazing detail..quiet beach out back of hotel..1km from the town which can be walked by foot...anything we needed was provided easily and with a smile..loved it

Breakfast was great and gave me ( a gluten and dairy intolerant person) good options. We had a lovely welcome dish of empanadas and fruit drink which was a nice suprise after a more than three hour car/ferry/canam trip to get there! Sitting in the bar for breakfast and sometimes dinner overlooking the sea was superb.

We had a truly lovely stay at Palapas del Sol in Holbox. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. The warm hospitality was one of the highlights of our experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and delicious empanadas, which they kindly brought to us right on the beach. It was such a thoughtful and relaxing way to start our holiday. The attention to detail and the kindness of the staff throughout our stay made a big difference. We felt taken care of and appreciated every moment. A special thank you to Agustin, Ninfa, and Carlos for their kindness and exceptional service. You truly made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful attention and for making our stay so special!

Amazing location, great staff in the front bar area, plenty of loungers always available on the beach, pool was good enough for the kids, food overall good.
