Hotel Overview

Set on the beautiful beach of Holbox Island, this accommodation offers privacy within a walking distance from the town centre. Palapas Del Sol features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a pool.
Rooms at Del Sol are set in 6 beach cottages that feature local palapa architecture with palm-thatched roofs. The cottages have their own terrace with hammocks and there are mosquito nets on each window.

Staying here was one of our holiday highlights! I couldn’t decide where to stay in Holbox as there is so much choice and price ranges but this hotel was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Firstly the location is great - right on a beautiful part of beach, lovely sand and water. it was a 15 mins walk along the beach to town. we would walk into town for dinner and get a taxi back. Taxi was always $150. There is a lovely hotel beach bar where we would have breakfast, lunch and cocktails. The food is excellent. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Great shower. Lovely hotel pool too if you didn’t want to swim in the sea. we had 3 nights here and completely relaxed and switched off, after a busy 12 night tour of the Yucutan Peninsula. I highly recommend this hotel

We absolutely loved our stay and would return again. The hotel was a peaceful retreat, clean, perfectly situated on a picture perfect beach, and the staff were very attentive. The breakfast that was included with our room was delicious every morning. Our room was gorgeous and the overall vibe was very relaxing.

Amazing hotel and staff. Our room was right on the beach - the hotel has its own area here with hammocks and deckchairs under palapas. Next to it is a cute little hotel bar. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the service was exceptional. They have a WhatsApp that you can use for room service requests, cleaning requests, fresh towels etc. Particularly Ninfa and Eloisa were fantastic - like air traffic controllers making sure our food/drinks/towels found us wherever we were. Beautiful location and amazing food and drinks.
