Apartment Overview

Sloho is not a typical apartment house. It’s a small and quiet retreat for adults who appreciate nature, slow travel and peaceful places, tucked away in Hohentauern, one of the smallest mountain villages in Styria.
With only 9 thoughtfully designed apartments, Sloho was made to feel personal, calm and intentionally small. Large windows, balconies and endless mountain views create space to slow down and simply be.
We’ve always loved staying in apartments ourselves. There’s something special about having your own rhythm while travelling. No fixed breakfast times, no crowded hotel atmosphere, no pressure to do anything at all. But honestly? Being “looked after” a little on holiday is lovely too.
That’s why we created small comforts at Sloho that you can enjoy whenever you feel like it. From breakfast in your apartment to slow evenings with our homemade food by the fireplace or out on the terrace.
Instead of "big words", we believe in small things which make you remember: quiet mornings. the warmth of the sauna. a charming fireplace in the evening. and mountains that expect nothing from you.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was surprisingly big and super clean, which made it feel very comfortable. The owner was so kind and friendly, always making sure I felt welcome. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home right away. Definitely a spot I’d love to come back to!

We had a wonderful stay here and felt truly welcome from the very beginning. The warm hospitality and kindness throughout our visit made our experience even more special. The place is spotless, with comfortable beds, and we especially loved the fantastic homemade products available to buy. Everything was perfect, and we will definitely recommend this place to everyone. We are sure to return!

Peaceful and quiet apartment on great location for hikes nearby. We got even gift box for our dog. Breakfast is nice with local products and view from coffee shop is amazing.
