Nice meals area, but no sitting area. Good kitchen. Good showers. Clean. Comfortable beds. Dramatic views.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Sauðanes Guesthouse during our road trip around Iceland. The location is serene, with breathtaking sea and mountain views right from the balcony—perfect for a quiet and relaxing evening. The room was clean, cozy, and warm, with all the basic amenities provided, including fresh towels and linens. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and the hosts were kind and welcoming. The property is just a short drive from Höfn, making it a convenient stop along the Ring Road. Highly recommend this guesthouse if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with scenic surroundings and great value. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect. Very clean and cosy place. The house decorated with attention to details and smells good. You can feel care of the host there.

Nice kitchen, well kept common areas. Beautiful surroundings. The bathroom is divided into stalls for one person, so you shower alone ;)
