We had a wonderful stay at Emhosheni River Lodge. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. On arrival, we were even greeted by a group of elephants and saw many other animals along the river. Each day, we enjoyed delicious meals prepared by the amazing cook, Lucia. The game drives were a highlight—Clement and Morne went above and beyond to help us spot the Big Five. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Location next to the river where elephants, Giraffes, hippos and many other animals are coming to drink is very special. Two rangers who took us to safaris were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Sara the resort manager was always present to make sure guests are being looked after.

guide William is the best guide you can imagine. always walks the extra mile. very good accomodation, extremly good food. View across the river ist spectacular. So many animals sightings right from the chalets. The incredibly good `rusks` with coffee on a morning game drive is a must. I defenitely come back....

I am sorry it took me forever to review, but here I am!! Emhosheni is AMAZING. We've been there this past July- a little less than 2 months ago. The property is really well kept, the accommodations are great, plus its safe with an electric fence, what put me at ease since we had my daughters with us. It is also a very tranquil place and lots of animals paid us "visits" by drinking water at the river right in front of the property. But what I really wanted to highlight is the out of this planet STAFF. The game drives with William, Sarah the manager and Eric, whom we'll never forget. Lucia, the cook, was also amazing. Only to mention the ones we interacted the most with. If you want to spend time with really enchanting human beings while at the same time exploring the wild life, do not miss this opportunity. We will never forget this trip- and the team was a major portion of our experience. We also felt safe with the experienced and lots of fun to hang out with, William. The game drives at the reserve were thrilling, but they also arranged other requests like a day at the Kruger, and a visit to a conservation centre. They were always attentive to our comfort, whether the day would be cold or hot, if we'd need food or what clothes to wear. It was all and all a perfect experience!! Please receive all our love for how we were welcomed and treated while at Emhosheni! Gabi, Julia, Manu and Joao. PS: send our regards to BushBaby Kevin too :) the cutest little guy.
