Jasmine on the front desk was a credit to your business, she was so lovely to us! Thank you Jasmine ! The bed was very comfy and the free upgrade was very much appreciated. The location was perfect for exploring Tasmania and Hobart. The pastries and yogurts provided for breakfast were really nice. We slept well here and would recommend it to travellers looking to explore Tasmania.

Interesting old building, spacious rooms, continental breakfast with some appealing options ( leaf tea and tea pots for those who prefer it). Easy walking to waterfront and Hobart CBD.

The Macquarie Hotel is exceptional - we loved our stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel is a beautiful historic mansion, it is really close (walking distance) to all the main Hobart attractions and restaurants, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again!

The location was amazing, staff did all they could to please, renovated downstairs areas were a delight, breakfast was a basic offering-juice, pasties, yogurt and one type of cheese. Baristas coffee was available at an additional cost.
