We had a great one night stay in Dalahyttur, the surrounding ist amazing, the rooms brand new, warm and comfortable. The hosting woman is amazing, and so were dinner and breakfast. We had a delicate storm that night, but we fehlt secure and cosy.

A warm welcome, all the comforts and more, a luxurious cabin in the fields...curious sheep and ultimate vantage point for viewing the Aurora Borealis. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the bed was a dream!

We loved it all. The location was superb and within easy reach of Reykjavik. The food was amazing and the staff lovely - very sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was all freshly prepared by the owners and it was really excellent.

Everything! 🤪 The lodge, facilities to surroundings and the staff. So nice that it is a little bit remote, which we like, with beautiful nature all around. Perfect! ❤️
