Roku Hostel in Ishigaki feels more like staying with family than at a hostel. From the moment I arrived, I felt so warmly welcomed, it truly feels like a home in Japan. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and create such a cozy, friendly atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very nice atmosphere, lots of social people around and loads of fun in the bar downstairs every night. Cheap drinks and good music!

Very good location (close to train station). Very friendly and helpful staff, and great and very welcoming atmosphere in general. I will definitely come back if it will be possible in the future. :-)
